We demanded all our staff worked 5 days in the office this week. Which at RockWave could mean anywhere! That is because, if you haven't been paying attention to our work-from-anywhere culture, we make being 100% virtual actually work. Workshops play a big part in this.

2025 has been a challenge for the seismic industry so far, so this particular workshop had a major focus on fun, less on "work", to really bring the team together.

Fun? Well, that does hinge on whether you like to play games...

On arrival everyone was assigned secret roles as either a Faithful or Traitor.

Each night someone was murdered as the Traitors picked off the innocent Faithfuls.

Each day we were pitted head to head in mölkky, pool, ping pong, foosball and more. All to find the true LEGEND OF GAMES (L.O.G - previously known as King of Games a.k.a Connor Boylan)

One day we all had to complete a gruelling 5 km running challenge up and down a 500 metre grassy runway, followed by a 16 km hike across chalky Wiltshire hills. All whilst still trying to figure out which of us were faithfuls and traitors!

Seems we thrive on the pressure cooker environment of GAMES GAMES GAMES. But none more so than the newly crowned L.O.G... Sandeep Bhamber. Congrats, even if it was earned by stabbing a boss in the back.

Thanks to our staff for making this a great week.
